NFL Pick of the Week: Week 9

Last week I was able to keep my perfect season alive by teasing the Bears and the Steelers. As it turned out, each would have won without being teased. Who cares, a win is a win.

This week I’m going with an ugly looking game and will play my first over/under of the season. I’m playing over 37.5 Bears vs Bills. The scary part of this play is the inept offense if Buffalo. However, the Bears have been putting up some strong point totals this year and this over/under is low with the way the game is played now. Even Buffalo should be good for at least 10 points and I can easily see Chicago putting up 30+. That may sound odd considering how good Buffalo’s D just played Monday night against the Pats, but in essence that was their Super Bowl. They laid it on the line and I would expect a letdown this week. I also see a defensive or special teams touchdown in the game, and the weather forecast is good. On top of that, Bear’s defensive star Khalil Mack probably won’t play and the Bills picked up Terrelle Pryor this week.

Week 9 pick: Over 37.5 Bears vs Bills
Season record: 8-0
